Lydia Plunkett

Having over a decade in the payment industry on both sides of the Issuing and Processing worlds, Plunkett’s experience has allowed her to be a positive status quo disruptor focused on driving the customer experience to the next level. She is an admitted tech geek and the epitome of a Steel Magnolia.

In her tenure with FIS, Plunkett has had many firsts! She launched the first FIS “Fraud Fighter” Best in Class award winning solution, SecurLOCK Communicate, designed and led the first virtual mass enablement program, CCME, and is now focused on a multi-year $50 million capital initiate, PaymentsOne UI. She’s been honored to work with some of the best as an Vice President of Enterprise Product, Consumer and Small Business Credit Development, Implementations and Conversions Project Manager, and Key Accounts Senior Director. In May 2018, she founded FIS’ first formally recognized Diversity and Inclusion committee. For multiple years she’s acted as a chair for corporate International Women’s Day activities, St. Pete Pride festivities, and acted as a mentor for USF’ MBA program and the Tampa Bay Young Women’s Symposium.

Prior to joining FIS in May 2011, Plunkett managed a client services team as well as led a 20+ QA team for another corporation which was both a Credit Card Issuer and a Private Label processor with their own credit processing platform. She brings a large breadth of experience including: Loan Origination, Online Banking, Compliance, Customer Service, Charge Backs, Collections and Training.

Plunkett is a proud University of Arkansas alumni as well as a passionate supporter of Community Tampa Bay, The National Committee to Prevent Child Abuse, Human Right’s Council, Girl’s Scouts of America, Special Olympics, Southeastern Guide Dogs, ChildFund International and Nate’s Honor Rescue.
