Currently she is part of the Investigative Services Leadership team at The Travelers companies as a Second Vice President with oversight for Business Partnership, Underwriting Investigations, Training, Marketing, Communication and Compliance. She served and the Chair for the Hispanic Latino Diversity Network from 2016 to December 2018. Delpha is also the Vice President of Professional Development for Prospanica Connecticut. Peggy Guirgis was appointed senior director, Civil Space & Defense Engineering in April, 2019. Peggy leads engineering for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance & Space (ISR&S;) Solutions in the following locations: Windsor Locks, Connecticut; Houston, Texas; Rockford, Illinois and San Dimas, California. She has over twenty years of experience in the aerospace industry. Her prior roles include general manager of Civil Space & Sea Systems Windsor Locks, Extravehicular Activity (EVA) Space Operations Contract Program Director, NASA EVA Office systems engineer, and EVA flight controller and instructor. Since joining Collins Aerospace in October 2011, Peggy has applied her engineering and program management skills to roles of increasing responsibility in the ISR & Space Systems organization. Peggy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Angela C. Robinson, Connecticut Superior Court Judge (Ret.), is the Chief Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Officer (CIDEO) at Wiggin and Dana. A graduate of Yale Law School, Robinson earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, Douglass College. In her capacity as CIDEO and a leader on Diversity and Inclusion, she draws upon her many years of experience. Beginning as a new lawyer in the late 1980s, through her time as a national leader of the Minority Caucus and Women’s Caucus of the AAJ in the nineties, continuing as a Superior Court Judge, Robinson has led initiatives, events and activities to increase diversity within the legal profession. She has also spoken, written about and advised legal professionals on ways to be more inclusive and equitable. Applying her acquired understanding of cross-cultural and culture conscious dynamics in work environments, she assists the firm and others in navigating the challenges in order to leverage the opportunities in the Diversity and Inclusion arena. As a retired Superior Court Judge, with 20 years of distinguished judicial experience, Robinson offers a unique perspective to achieve Diversity, Inclusion and Equity goals. Robinson is a James W. Cooper Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation. She serves on the Boards of the Greater New Haven Arts Council and the New Haven Legal Assistance. She is the Partridge Fellow at Quinnipiac Law School, where she teaches Evidence, Remedies and Critical Race Theory and she teaches trial practice at Yale Law School. Among her many awards and recognitions, she was the recipient of the Connecticut Law Tribune’s Distinguished Leader Award in 2019; the Edwin Archer Randolph Diversity Award from the Lawyers’ Collaborative for Diversity in 2017; the Judicial Award from the Connecticut Trial Lawyers’ Association; and the Diversity Award in 2014, presented by the Young Lawyers’ Section of the Connecticut Bar Association.

Debra A. Abbott-Walker, LUTCF, LTCP, a Growth & Development Director with Northwestern Mutual in West Hartford, CT is an industry leader with more than 25 years of experience. In her current role, Debra focuses on recruiting, training and developing individuals who want to build careers as entrepreneurial financial professionals. Her plan is to build upon and enhance the strategic initiatives and growth goals for the branch. Debra is highly focused on the women’s market and is Past President of the Fairfield/Hartford Chapter of Women in Insurance and Financial Services (WIFS). She is the co-founder of an Executive Women’s Networking Group in West Hartford and is on the Women’s Leadership Council at University of New Haven. She is a member of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce as well as the CT Gay & Lesbian Chamber (CTGLC). Deb is also an adjunct professor at Fairfield University. Debra has her CT, MA, RI and NC Life, Health, Property and Casualty licenses. She holds her FINRA Series 24, 66, 7, 6, 63 and 26. She is a national spokesperson for several LGBT white papers, has spoken on Capitol Hill regarding the LGBT financial experience and is a published author in several insurance and financial periodicals. Debra and her wife Jennifer and their son Luke live in Southport, CT.
