Erin Heller
Erin Heller, Vice President, Legal, oversees two functions at Western Digital Corporation’s Legal Department – Global Labor and Employment and Legal Operations. Erin reports directly to the General Counsel and leads a team of over 20 attorneys and legal professionals. She is the lead employment attorney for worldwide activities for Western Digital, a publically traded fortune 200 company with annual revenue of $19.1 billion and over 70,000 employees globally. She has been with the company since 2008.
Erin regularly works with Western Digital’s executive management team to advise on a wide variety of employment law issues, including performance management, termination decisions, immigration, contingent workforce challenges, trade secret matters, cross boarder employment law issues, corporate transactions and emerging markets concerns. She is responsible for all Company employment litigation and pre-litigation activities. She manages a significant budget (the entire global legal organization) and works closely with finance to forecast and review actual spend for the global legal team of 160 people. Other responsibilities include vendor management, contract management, systems and tools, playbook and people management issues for the legal department.
Erin started her legal career at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher with a focus on employment law and litigation.
