Catherine Alonzo

Catherine Alonzo has 7 years of campaign management experience covering every aspect of modern campaigns. She has been an integral part of many successful bids for elected office including those of current Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton and Phoenix City Councilwoman Laura Pastor, Tempe Mayor Mark Mitchell, and Glendale City Councilmember Sam Chavira. She has coordinated campaigns at every level including federal, statewide and local, as well as ballot initiatives and school district candidate races, bonds and overrides. In 2013, she led the Prop 201 campaign in Phoenix, which overhauled the pension system for new city employees and passed with nearly 80% of the vote.

In 2010, Catherine coordinated the direct mail campaign for 9 different independent expenditure groups in state legislative races, developing and executing mail plans from soup to nuts. She has experience at every aspect of modern campaigns from developing and implementing winning strategy, coordinating new and traditional communications, developing paid and volunteer voter contact plans, and coordinating an effective field effort. Since 2011, Catherine has served on the Board of Directors for LGBTQ-rights organization Equality Arizona and recently joined the Board of Directors for Tucson-based nonprofit organization Ben’s Bells.
