Diane Lofgren
Diane Gage Lofgren, APR, Fellow PRSA, is the Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications for Sharp HealthCare, the largest integrated health care delivery system in San Diego, California. Prior to this role, Lofgren served as Chief Communications Officer for Kaiser Permanente at the Program Office in Oakland, California. She was responsible for all communications and advertising for the Program as well as oversight of the Center for Total Health in Washington, D.C. Previously, Lofgren worked for Catholic Health Initiatives in Denver, Colorado, as vice president of Customer and Market Strategy. For 10 years, she also owned The Gage Group, a full service public relations and marketing agency in San Diego. Lofgren is a former PRSA Board member. She contributes regularly to PR News and Healthcare Marketing Quarterly and is the author of nine books. Lofgren holds a B.A. in journalism and an M.S. in mass communications from San Diego State University.
