Lisa Cochran
Lisa Cochran joined Humana in July 2015 as the Vice President and Business Technology Leader responsible for the delivery and execution of technology for the Group Segment as well as the Shared Services organization. She is also a founder and executive sponsor of the WNRG – WIT resource group.
Prior to joining Humana, Lisa had a long tenure in the financial services industry, leading multiple executive roles during her 17 year tenure at Bank of America. Immediately prior to joining Humana Lisa was the Vice President of Payment & Commerce Technology and Customer Care Operations at Softcard. Softcard was first in market with the concept “Download the App, Pay with a Tap” in the mobile payments arena and patented multiple innovative mobile payments capabilities including the capability to through a single tap, pay, pass loyalty information and redeem coupons. Softcard intellectual property was acquired in Q1 2015 by Google and many of the capabilities pioneered by Softcard live on today through Android Pay.
Lisa graduated from Embry-Riddle with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
Lisa, her husband Jim, and 4 year old son Luke relocated to Goshen, KY from Frisco, TX and in her free time they enjoy exploring the local attractions such as the nearby Caves, the Kentucky Science Center and the arts programs around Louisville. During her short tenure in Louisville, Lisa has also become active in the United Way, including participating in United Way finance committee. She has a passion for giving back and helping others, as well as correcting the decline in Women Computer Science graduates in the last few decades through programs like “Hour of Code” and “Code like a Girl.”
