Jessica Giannasca
Jessica Giannasca is the Sr. Director of IS Business Operations at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She leads the IS Business Operations department which includes the IT Service Desk, Service Management, Operational Excellence, and IS Business Operations. Jessica has proudly worked at CHOP for the last 16 years and has excelled in prior roles including Information Security Manager, Project Manager, and Internal Auditor. She is a passionate, driven leader and energetic communicator who creates strategic alliances with key leaders to achieve desired objectives. She strives to improve business process and obtain operational results while managing costs meticulously. She is also a mentor to staff and colleagues and finds fulfillment in building and retaining high performing teams of skilled, diverse professionals.
Prior to joining CHOP, Jessica was a healthcare consultant at Protiviti helping various clients with HIPAA Security and Privacy rule compliance. She started her career as a Senior Associate at Arthur Andersen providing IT audit services and compliance assessments for her clients in various industries.
Jessica earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lehigh University and is currently enrolled in a “Psychology of Leadership” Master’s program at Pennsylvania State University. She enjoys volunteering as an Inclusion in STEM Employee Resource Group member, facilitator of the annual CHOPTech workshops, and speaker at leadership forums. She also supports her church and community youth sports programs.
