Myriam Vidalon
Myriam serves as Vice President, Diversity & Inclusion Programs at Nielsen. In her role, Myriam educates, inspires, influences and empowers associates to value and leverage Diversity & Inclusion as pivotal to business growth and innovation. Myriam is responsible for leading Nielsen’s Employee Resource Groups in 80+ countries around the world. Prior to her appointment as VP, Diversity & Inclusion programs, Myriam led Nielsen’s Hispanic Organization of Leaders in Action (HOLA) Employee Resource Group. HOLA’s mission is to advance the careers and education opportunities of Hispanic professionals.
During her tenure at Nielsen, Myriam has led transformational initiatives aimed at improving the quality of Nielsen’s data by re-engineering operational tools, processes and driving a high-performance culture globally. Throughout her career, Myriam has led and deployed several programs and volunteering opportunities aimed at improving diversity, equity and inclusion in the organization and community. As a Diversity & Inclusion practitioner, Myriam has facilitated numerous webinars, conferences and workshops in North America, Latin America and Europe, where she has shared best practices in leading global D&I strategies, the role of D&I in driving business impact, women parity in the workplace, re-imaging Employee Resource Groups among other topics.
Myriam’s professional background in Business Process Improvement, Business Intelligence, Financial insights and Training & Development has enabled her to become a Diverse leader passionate about leveraging a sense of higher purpose to drive growth for our associates and clients.
Myriam received her Masters of Marketing from The University of Tampa in Florida where she graduated Alpha Chi. She earned a BA in International Business from St. Petersburg College in Clearwater, Florida and earned a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. Myriam graduated from Nielsen’s Diverse Leadership Network program where she completed a certification on Leadership, Innovation and Value Creation from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Myriam was selected to Diversity MBA’s list of Top 100 under 50 Diverse Emerging Leaders list for 2015. Myriam currently serves in the Board of Directors of the Florida Diversity Council and as Membership Co-Chair in the Tampa Bay Diversity Council Advisory Board.
