Robyn Gordon

Robyn N. Gordon serves as Director of the Center Operations Directorate at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) John H. Glenn Research Center at Lewis Field in Cleveland, Ohio. In this capacity, she manages organizational objectives, direction, resource allocation, and coordinates and integrates activities of the institution, which cross Center organizations. Additionally, she determines institutional issues which affect the execution and performance of the Center’s commitments. The institutional organizations under Gordon’s purview include the Offices of Protective Services and Education, the Lean Six-Sigma Program, and the Logistical and Technical Information, Procurement, and the Community and External

Relations Divisions.

Gordon has an extensive background developing, implementing, and measuring strategic and business planning initiatives and processes for organizations. She is proficient in building organization-wide planning capabilities and knowledge needed to implement strategic planning priorities. Before joining Glenn, Gordon served in leadership roles at the Cuyahoga County Public Library and the City of Cleveland. Gordon is a member of numerous boards and volunteer organizations throughout the city. Her professional and personal accomplishments have been recognized by numerous organizations with many accolades, including the following: Presidential Rank Award (2017); Aerospace Awareness Award (2017); Crain’s Women of Note Award (2016); Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio-Woman of Distinction Award (2014); Junior League of Cleveland-Francis Payne Bolton Award

(2010); NASA Group Achievement Award (2009); Glenn Federal Women’s Program Supervisory Award (2009); National Women of Color Technology Award for Community Service (2007); and Minorities in Research Science Trailblazers Award (2006).
