Amy Cappellanti-Wolf

Amy Cappellanti-Wolf is senior vice president, chief human resources officer, reporting to Symantec’s CEO. In addition to serving on the executive team and managing Symantec’s global human resources function, she leads Symantec’s workplace/workforce strategy and planning, real estate and facilities functions.

During her career, Cappellanti-Wolf has led human resources teams in high tech, entertainment and consumer products industries. Most recently she was the chief HR officer for Silver Spring Networks beginning in 2009. In partnership with the CEO and senior leaders, she delivered a successful IPO for Silver Spring Networks in March 2013.

Cappellanti-Wolf previously held key human resources leadership roles at Cisco Systems from 2001 to 2009. She began at Cisco leading HR for the U.S. Enterprise Sales team. From Sales, she moved into Worldwide Marketing, then Worldwide Business Functions and lastly was the vice president leading the HR teams for Decision Support, Services and Operations Businesses. Prior to Cisco, Cappellanti-Wolf has also led HR teams at Sun Microsystems, The Walt Disney Company, and Frito-Lay.

She holds an M.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations and a B.S. in Journalism and Public Relations, both from West Virginia University.
