Marie Glancy is Senior Vice President of Operational Services and Regulatory Affairs for Centene Corporation, a leading multi-line healthcare enterprise that provides programs and related services to individuals receiving health benefits under Medicaid.

As an expert in health care policy, Ms. Glancy has been outspoken in making the business case for quality in health care.  She has guided efforts to educate state and federal policymakers on how they can support health care policies and is widely respected for sustained leadership in measuring and improving health care quality.
 
As a strong proponent for meaningful health care reform, Ms. Glancy has provided leadership in various arenas of health care, such as Public Affairs and Policy, Strategic Marketing and Communications, Legal Affairs, State and Federal Government Relations, National Quality Management, Re-engineering, Organizational and Leadership Development, and Medical Care Management.

Ms. Glancy has sought to make a positive impact on health care in America by serving as a catalyst for change, focusing the industry, public policy leaders, physicians and legislators on issues aimed at increasing access to affordable health care.

Before joining Centene in 2003, Ms. Glancy was a public policy executive for Deere & Company where she represented the company’s health care issues at the federal level.  She also directed the strategic development and implementation of various Medicare Health plans while at Deere.

Prior to her work with Deere & Company, she was Corporate Vice President for Sharp Health Care in San Diego, California, where she provided leadership for clinical research and the development of next generation clinical management models.

In her career, Ms. Glancy has consulted with many high profile organizations, corporations and European countries.  She lends her time and expertise to a number of organizations, such as, the Women Business Leaders in Health Care, America’s Health Insurance Plans, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the boards of several non-profit foundations and community organizations.
