Ms. Goel is currently Chief Commercial Officer, for Fennec Pharmaceuticals, responsible for global launch readiness of company’s first product in pediatric oncology, starting with the US market. She is an experienced leader with close to 20 years’ experience in commercialization of oncology products, and a clear track record of successfully leading global businesses. Throughout her career, Ms. Goel hasserved in commercial and marketing leadership positions atOdonate Therapeutics, Celgene Corporation, Bayer AG, Aveo Oncology, Ariad Pharmaceuticals and Millennium Pharmaceuticals. These collective professional experiences have provided Ms. Goel with broad and deep expertise across both oral and IV (buy and bill) products, and within multiple disease areas across solid and hematological malignancies, in the U.S. and globally. Ms. Goel has a proven track record of success within the global biopharmaceutical industry, as demonstrated by her ability to build commercial infrastructures, lead marketing and cross-functional teams, and to cultivate strong thought leader relationships across multiple specialties. Ms. Goel served as Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Operations at Odonate Therapeutics. Prior to Odonate, Ms. Goel served in served in multiple leadership positions at Celgene Corporation, including Executive Director, Global Early Commercialization and as Head of U.S. Marketing, Oncology. While at Celgene, Ms. Goel oversaw the successful execution of the U.S. launch of Abraxane® in pancreatic cancer and had overall responsibility for marketing the U.S. solid tumor franchise. Ms. Goel has also previously served as Head of the Global Launch Team at Bayer AG, where she led the build of an oncology prostate franchise to nearly $2 billion in enterprise value, was responsible for the global commercial brand and launch strategy and managed a global brand team. Ms. Goel has also held leadership positions at Aveo Oncology, and senior marketing roles at Ariad Pharmaceuticals and Millennium Pharmaceuticals. While at Aveo, Ms Goel was responsible for marketing readinessforlaunch in the US, as well as partner alignmentfor the EU. While at Millennium, Ms. Goel was a part of the team, responsible for launching Velcade® (bortezomib), the Company’s first product launch. The team was able to increase net sales significantly from $59.6 million in 2003 when it was launched to $143.1 million in 2004, resulting in Velcade being listed in the top 10 US drug launches with Med Ad News, in 2004. With nearly two decades of global commercial leadership experience successfully building and executing the launch of several blockbuster oncology products, Ms Goel is responsible for multiple aspects of the organizational build across people, processes, and standards with the focus of maximizing shareholder value and improving patient outcomes, at Fennec Pharmaceuticals. Ms. Goel received a B.Sc. degree in biochemistry from the University of Bath.
Christy Kaufman is a recognized leader with deep expertise in the risk management ecosystem. She has a proven track record of guiding sizeable cross-functional and global teams in the design and implementation of leading-edge risk and compliance programs. Christy is currently the Vice President of Risk Management for Zillow Group, overseeing operations for enterprise risk management (ERM), business resiliency, risk financing, health & safety, information security risk and security across all business lines and functions. Previously, Christy led Strategy, Governance and Compliance for American Family Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on early-stage startups impacting the risk and insurance industry. Christy also formerly headed ERM and was Chief of Staff to the General Counsel of Marsh & McLennan Companies and was a consultant for Aon and Ernst & Young, assisting clients in the areas of ERM, compliance, governance, business continuity planning, crisis management, and strategic risk financing. Passionate about helping young professionals grow their careers, Christy is an adjunct professor in the Risk Management and Insurance department of the University of Wisconsin School of Business and a member of the UW MBA Advisory Board. Christy is also a Director of the global board of the Risk & Insurance Management Society and was honored as an Elite Woman by Insurance Business America in 2021 and a Woman to Watch by Business Insurance in 2017.
Kathleen Navarro is Head of Talent Management & Chief Diversity Officer at New York Life, leading the company’s integrated talent management and diversity and inclusion strategies. Ms. Navarro heads up the company’s Executive Talent & Diversity Council and works closely with New York Life’s business areas to align talent and diversity initiatives with business goals. Ms. Navarro joined New York Life in 1994 and has held a variety of finance, strategy, and operations roles spanning Insurance and Agency, Investments, and Corporate Departments. Prior to becoming Chief Diversity Officer, Ms. Navarro co-led New York Life’s employee resource group for women. Ms. Navarro holds an MBA in Accountancy from Baruch College Zicklin School of Business, a B.S. in Statistics and Management from New York University Stern School of Business, and a certification in Building & Leading Diverse Organizations from the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Financial Women’s Association, 30% Club Steering Committee, and Gartner Talent and D&I Councils. She has been recognized as a Top 10 Champion of Global Diversity by DiversityGlobal, a Top Executive in Corporate Diversity by Black Enterprise, a Top 50 Chief Diversity Officer by the National Diversity Council, and included on the Most Powerful & Influential Women list by the National Diversity Council.
Michelle Thompson-Dolberry serves as Vice President of Strategic I&D Partnerships at American Express. In this role, she is responsible for partnering closely with our Colleague Strategic Partners (CSPs) and Business Unit (BU) leaders to leaders to align I&D strategy to business priorities to help increase representation, operationalizing enterprise I&D investments across the business and elevating our external presence by leveraging partnerships to amplify our brand and commitment to underrepresented groups. Michelle most recently led Global Campus Recruiting, Diversity Recruiting and North America Talent Acquisition for American Express. She was responsible for forming an enterprise-wide vision on the role of early career talent for the organization. She also led strategic initiatives for the Global Consumer Services Group across culture, diversity and inclusion, compensation, leadership and recruitment. Prior to returning to American Express in 2019, Michelle worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co where she was the Head of Chase Campus Pipeline Development & the Head of JPMC Black Scholars Strategy for over 2 years. In her role, she oversaw activities designed to attract, select, hire, develop and retain a strong diverse pipeline of student talent. Before joining JPMC, Michelle led Early Engagement Customer Experience Marketing for the Middle Market segment in Global Corporate Services at American Express. She also served as the President and Chief Firestarter of her own business, EMDO Enterprises, serving the strategic and executional needs of non-profit, small and medium size organizations. She is a certified business and brand coach and serves as a trainer of small businesses. Prior to forming EMDO, Michelle was the Director of Advocacy for OPEN, where she spearheaded the strategic evolution of this conversational marketing outreach initiative that provided education tools through programs and content, driven by strategic alliances with leading business associations. The initiative was designed to elevate brand receptivity and awareness of small business products and services in targeted business segments. Previously, Michelle served as a Director of Human Resources at American Express, where she specialized in change management, employee engagement, talent development and leader effectiveness. Prior to Amex, Michelle gained additional HR experience in other financial services organizations, including working in London with Credit Suisse. Michelle also finds time to sit on the Board of Smile Farms, a nonprofit whose mission is to provide people with developmental disabilities meaningful work in agricultural settings to reduce their unemployment rate and Determined To Educate, Inc, a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring and motivating under-served youth. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Penn State’s Smeal School of Business. She lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband James, daughter Kennedy (11) and dog Duke and Pandemic Puppy, Ellie. They are all avid Eagles fans!
Keti Mehta currently serves as Senior Vice President at Gallagher’s NY Metro office, where she manages the firm’s growth initiatives to expand client footprint across diverse industry segments and deepen customer intimacy. Mehta also serves as an Advisor to the inaugural Diversity & Inclusion Committee of the Risk & Insurance Management Society’s (RIMS) Advisory Board. For over six years, Keti has served as the Vice Chair & Board Member of the Tri-State Diversity Council. Recognized for being an inspiring growth accelerator, strategic brand promoter, and influencer - Keti Mehta successfully develops high performing teams and strategic partnerships to unleash organic growth potential. She stands out for being a transformational culture catalyst by building diverse communities that promote inclusion and collaboration. Keti leads by example and is a highly skilled, certified sales activator, leadership development coach, talent enthusiast and evangelist of the Customer Experience. Mehta has also held senior executive leadership roles at Hub International, USI Insurance Services, EMC Dell, Morgan Stanley, and IDB. Keti is a licensed NY Property & Casualty Insurance Broker. Mehta received a Master of Arts degree in Change Leadership from Teacher’s College, Columbia University in New York. Additionally, Keti holds a Professional Coaching Certification from the International Coach Federation. She currently resides in Westchester County with her husband of 23 years and beloved daughter, Karina.
